My name is Amanda. This is a picture of me on Oct. 14, 2023, the day I put myself out into the design world as I like to say. Little did I know when a dear friend said, "come this way" down her driveway, she was leading me to a new beginning full of possibilities. This short journey has been a wild ride of learning, collabing and creating. In this blog, I will share with you the projects I have been a part of, the processes I have created, and the products I used within the homes I have worked on.

People have asked, "how did you get started in this?" I spent twenty years making our (two) HOUSES into HOMES for our family of four to to LIVE IN. Since, 2013 I have been a part of the Design Sessions and have taken online courses in design, home organization, minimalism, Feng Shui and studied the Kon-Mari Method.

Which lead me to develop my philosophy on homes.

I believe homes are to be lived in and enjoyed. Our homes should be our sanctuary, they should support us, and not stress us out. Everything in our home is energy and you should LOVE what you are surrounded by in your home. This philosophy, took many, many years to execute in my own home. I am not 100% there yet to this day, and I may never be. However, it is a forever changing process I have embraced and absolutely love.

When I decided to reach out to my first paying client, I wasn't super clear on what I could provide and offer, but I knew it was more than just decorating a room. My services are still unfolding and I remain open to different avenues this line of work may take me in. When something you are passionate about starts fueling you, you know you are heading in the right direction.

All items (i.e. wallpaper, sconces, flush mount light, plants, and window treatments) were selected by my clients and I enjoyed guiding them along the way!
